Current approach to happiness: Making a mental note of details.
Exceptionally small aspects of moments that later seem vital to my soul and my spirit and my perspective. Ladybugs and cobblestones, romantic conversations and the way old couples link arms when they walk.
And I can’t tell you why these things are so significant. They simply are.
I find myself mining details like relics. And when it’s quiet and I’m alone, I pull them out like a box of treasures. And I marvel over them, reveling in their gorgeous simplicity. And somehow this makes me feel tremendous love for this world that I’m so thankful to enjoy.
